New Year’s Eve 2020 in Venice will be illuminated by fireworks.
At the stroke of midnight the Basin of St. Mark’s will shine thanks to the fireworks show, designed to welcome the most eagerly awaited night of the year in an exciting and evocative setting.
New Year’s Eve 2020 will be celebrated with fireworks that will reflect on St. Mark’s Basin, with plays of light on the water, forming the backdrop for the midnight chimes that will welcome this new decade from the Clock Tower.
The best view to enjoy the New Year’s Eve show is near the Actv Arsenale stop (the fireworks are not visible from St. Mark’s Square and Piazzetta San Marco).
Starting at 11.30 p.m. some single fireworks will be launched to facilitate the positioning of the public along the shores.
Security
In order to guarantee everyone a New Year’s Eve in serenity and without accidents that could compromise the safety of citizens, precautionary safety measures have been taken.

Enhanced public transport
